Australia and Kenya won matches

Australia won by 203 runs over Scotland

Chasing a mammoth 335, Scotland was 131 for nine after 40 overs against Australia in a Group A match at Warner Park, St Kitts on Wednesday and lost the match to Australia.Glenn McGrath picked up three wickets in quick succession.

Ricky Ponting set a few personal milestones as Australia posted 334 for six in the stipulated 50 overs. Dropped on 29, he went on to make 113 - a knock that consisted of nine boundaries and five huge sixes. It was Ponting's 23rd ODI hundred and his fourth ton in World Cups. He also became the sixth batsman to cross the 1000-run mark in World Cups and went past Mark Waugh's record of 1005 runs to become Australia's highest run getter at the quadrilineal event. Earlier, Wright won the toss and put Australia into bat and Australi made 334 for the loss of 6 wickets in 50 overs.

Kenya won over Canada
Chasing 200 for a win, Kenya was 192 for three after 42 overs against Canada in a Group C encounter at St Lucia on Wednesday.
Earlier, put in to bat by Kenya skipper Steve Tikolo, Canada was bowled out for 199 in their stipulated 50 overs.
Collins Omondi Obuya was Man of the Match.
