Australia beat Bangladesh by 10 wickets

An unbeaten 106-run opening stand between Adam Gilchrist and Mathew Hayden saw Australia gallop to a 10-wicket victory against Bangladesh in their Super Eights encounter at Antigua on Saturday.

Hayden, who remained unbeaten on 47 and Gilchrist, 59 not out, were devastating as an opening pair and completed the job in just 13.5 overs as Australia wrap up the first ten-wicket win in this World Cup.

Earlier, Bangladesh scored 104 for six after 22 overs after Australian skipper Ricky Ponting elected to field.

due to the rain match was rearranged for 22 overs.
